Chinchillas
From Library of the Randirim
Chinchillas are lively, bouncy, fuzzy creatures well known for their capacity to leap great bounds and playful natures. On Landroval Chinchillas are a favorite of the Coffee Crew group and often serve as the waiter/esses for the Tavern and coffee threads. Over time certain Chinchillas have been given names and personalities of their own and are used communally amongst the 'crew.

Felun
The accidental stowaway in a shipment from the south, this little guy was discovered by Pellinor in a cask of half-eaten coffee beans. Ever since then Felun, which is apparently dwarven for "little guy" ((note: I completely made that up since the Khuzdul word for 'little' is utterly unknown)), has been nigh inseparable from the old dwarf and can often be found peaking out of his beard or perching on his head.

Ruffledust and Scufflefluff
These two rambunctious chinchillas were brought into the care of the Leaf and Bean Tavern by one Redrogo Longbottoms. How or where the hobbit came into possession of the critters remains a mystery. Regardless, the names of the creatures, given to them by the hobbit, have proven to be quite apt. Indeed, these chinchillas are two of the most energetic fixtures of the tavern. According to Redrogo, the pair are actually paternal twin brothers. Ruffledust, the elder twin, was named for his grey coat and insatiable love of dust-bathing. Scufflefluff, on the other hand, was named for his exceptionally fluffy white fur, as well as both his odd, scurrying shuffle and his boisterous, often disruptive behavior. Among the regular patrons of the tavern, the two are often called by their nicknames Ruffle and Scuffle.
