Biography
Born to Garmund and Leofrun Giedingas in the human kingdom of Dale in 2987, Gunolf grew up with a heritage of dutiful military service. Following that tradition he enlisted in Dale's Guard force when he came of age and takes great pride in the service of his people.
He was recently tasked to take an absence from that service in order to comply with the dying wish of his Grandfather by delivering the late soldier's sword to his cousin Alditha. Though Alditha had journeyed far over the mountains, Gunolf completed his task and has remained in Eriador since, feeling that his abilities are put to better use there than the routine training that awaits in the shadow of Erebor.
Appearance
Gunolf is a man of slighly taller than normal height and sturdy build. He tends to wear moderate armor and is seldom if ever seen without his beloved wide-brimmed hat.
