Biography
Tuilind's story is a long one stretching from the shores of Cuiviénen to the fabled realm of Doriath and eventually to Ered Luin. The full tale is told in Chronicle of Ages. She shared a long marriage with Tinnutiri Gilhend and had a single son by the same. She served as one of the nine Ainitirith, the personal guard of Queen Melian and continues to wear the red and violet armor of such. Since the fall of Beleriand she had seen to the protection of those elves that remain in Ered Luin who dubbed her Buiamath, or "The Shield that Serves."
More recently Tuilind was reunited with her unknown grandsons, Garaf and Esslar and has left Ered Luin to become acquainted with her descendants.
Appearance
Tuilind rarely goes forth in anything shy of heavy armor, and most often in a suit resembling the Ainitirith uniform of Doriath. She is somewhat taller than most of her Sindarin brethren though not quite as tall as her grandsons.

- For the curious, Buiamath is properly pronounced as "Boo-yah-math"
